In New York City:
When we're in New York, we like to stay at one of the Ian Schrager Hotels close to the theatre district: the Hudson, the Paramount,
and the Royalton. Designed by Phillipe Starck, each is comfortable, affordable, convenient, and utterly fabulous.
In Provincetown:
We can highly recommend a gem run by innkeepers Rainer, Juergen and Hans: Carpe Diem.
As their website says, a stay at at Carpe Diem brings their guests closer to the soul of Provincetown - and hopefully they will come across one of these unique moments in life at their guesthouse.
The best way to get to Provincetown from Boston is by ferry. Bay State Cruise Company offers a regular ferry service that takes about three hours and a high-speed ferry that takes about two hours. Boston Harbor Cruise offers a high-speed catamaran service that will get you from Beantown to Provincetown in just 90 minutes.
The Cape and the Islands:
The perfect place to start your Cape Cod vacation is the Woods Hole Inn. Recently restored, the vintage Woods Hole Inn is decorated in a hip, modern style. Across from the Martha's Vineyard ferry and in the middle of everything in Woods Hole. We like their theme "Come stay Green by the deep Blue sea."
In Lyon:
If you want to stay in an amazing Bed and Breakfast in the World Heritage sites of Lyon, you can stay in Patrick and Stephane's La Tour-Lyon and discover the unique view on the city through the 17 windows of this tower-duplex.
